Teen nutrition is a hot topic today, because overweight or obese teens are more likely to develop weight related diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and to experience eating disorders. Teaching teens how to eat nutritionally, even when on the go, can lead to a new song. This song is all about healthy lifestyles that will last long beyond the teenage years.
Practical Tips

Reduce the amount you eat at a time and also cut back on the amount of fat in your diet 

Avoid snacking on high foods between meals .Eat some fruits instead 

Drink sufficient water everyday 

Include high fibre foods in your meals,as this will help you feel fuller longer .Switch on to whole grain cereals rather than refined foods 

Distribute your calories throughout the day with higher percentage in the morning and gradually decreasing towards evening 

Avoid high carbohydrates (rice bread cakes )in the evening
